US Treasury – Reporting Requirements: Mandatory Survey of Foreign Ownership of U.S. Securities (SHLA)

May 5, 2021 – The US Treasury is providing a Notice informing the public that it is conducting a Mandatory Survey of Foreign Ownership of U.S. Securities as of June 30, 2021. This mandatory survey is conducted under the authority of the International Investment and Trade in Services Survey Act. The Notice is a legal notification to all United States persons, who meet the reporting requirements in the Notice that they must respond to, and comply with, this survey.
