The Bank of Spain (BDE) has proposed rules for reporting credit risk data to comply with the EU AnaCredit regulation. The proposals indicate that the AnaCredit model is similar to the current Spanish rules on credit risk reporting. The BDE, therefore, proposes to integrate the AnaCredit requirements with the existing rules in Circular 1/2013. Firms will only need to submit one statement, but there will also be new requirements to provide information on new lending operations and additional information on interest rates, accounting data, and guarantees received.
