The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published today a fourth consultation paper on The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II). This consultation deals with a series of broadly technical Handbook changes that were not covered in the previous MiFID II consultations.
The FCA is seeking specific feedback from firms on those elements where its thinking is advanced enough to make specific proposals. There is a convenient online response form or responses can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The consultation period closes on 17 February 2017 except for Chapter 7 which requires comments by 16 January 2017.
A complete summary of the consultation paper and process can be found on the FCA website.
