PRA and FCA publish joint consultation paper on Notes for completion of the MLAR – CP45/16

December 12, 2016

The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have today published a joint Consultation Paper (CP) proposing updates to their respective documentation for Notes for the completion of the Mortgage Lenders & Administrators Return (MLAR). The proposed updates and clarifications do not introduce any material changes to the Notes to the MLAR and do not result in any new reporting requirements.

This consultation closes on Monday 13 March 2017. Please address comments related to both the PRA Notes to the MLAR and the FCA guidance to the MLAR to both authorities at CP45/16@bankofengland.co.uk and CP16/41@fca.org.uk. For PRA only related changes please e-mail the PRA inbox. Please address comments related to questions 5 and 8 of the MLA-D1 or any other FCA related enquiries to the FCA in writing to or via e-mail using the details in the CP.
