May 23, 2016

On 18 May 2016 the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) adopted the Regulation on the collection of granular credit and credit risk data known as “AnaCredit”.

The aim of the data collection is to produce new statistics while increasing the quality of existing statistics in order to support the ESCB and the ECB in the performance of tasks related to monetary policy analysis and operations, risk management and financial stability surveillance.
