AxiomSL Holdings BV is organised and domiciled in the Netherlands, functioning as the holding company for all AxiomSL Group entities organised across Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. The AxiomSL Group has over 700 employees worldwide and operates globally, across North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
OUR SUPPLY CHAINS
AxiomSL’s supply chain mainly consists of professional services providers, including consultants, accountants, law firms, contractors, software services, and data and content providers. AxiomSL also uses suppliers of IT and other office equipment providers and publication distribution services.
Given the nature of AxiomSL’s business, we believe there is minimal risk of practices that support, facilitate or are complicit with modern slavery, within either AxiomSL or our supply chain. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we require that all vendors to perform at the highest level of business and professional ethics and to ensure that they and their subcontractors comply with all applicable anti-slavery and human trafficking laws, including but not limited to the UK Modern Slavery Act.
OUR POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in out supply chains.
Our Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy can be viewed here.
We have a dedicated compliance team, which consists of representatives from the Legal, Audit and Human Resources departments respectively. The compliance team can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES FOR SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place systems to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains;
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains;
- Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains; and
- Provide adequate protection for whistle blowers.
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff.
Following a review of the effectiveness of the steps we have taken to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains we intend to take the following further steps to combat slavery and human trafficking:
- Fully implement our internal anti-slavery and human trafficking training programme
- To develop and implement supply chain compliance programme to ensure vendor compliance
- Continue to monitor modern slavery risks within our business and supply chain
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending December 31, 2018.
