Didier Bouillard - Chief Executive Officer

Didier Bouillard

Chief Executive Officer

Didier Bouillard serves as the CEO of AxiomSL and Calypso following the merger of the two companies in July 2021. Didier joined Calypso as CEO in April 2018 and is based in London. Prior to Calypso, Didier served as CEO of Ullink, global provider of connectivity and trading services, beginning early 2015. The main objective of the assignment was to merge NYFIX, acquired by Ullink late 2014, and to transition the overall group from a founder led business into a professionalized Private Equity owned business. After experiencing multiple years of steady growth of revenues and profits Ullink was successfully sold to Nordic Capital backed Itiviti. Prior to Ullink Didier was Executive Vice President at Sungard Financial Systems (now part of FIS) and operated a substantial part of the Capital Markets and Electronic Trading division, playing a key role in the global distribution.

Didier started his career in the 1990’s and has been part of successful entrepreneurial ventures providing leadership as partner, Managing Director and CEO (Ubitrade, Capital Fund Management, Fermat) where he gained extensive knowledge of the capital market industry as well as a true international exposure.

Didier graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in 1988.

AxiomSL Vlad Etkin

Vlad Etkin

Chief Technology Officer

Since joining AxiomSL in 1992, Vlad Etkin has been instrumental in developing and implementing AxiomSL’s software architecture, enabling the company’s product suite to become an industry leader.

Prior to AxiomSL, Vlad managed a group of programmers in creating one of the first FMS/ERP programs in Ukraine. He also participated in and later headed a group of programmers who designed an operating system and programs for numeric control devices for grinding machines.

Vlad holds a degree in theoretical physics from Kharkov University, Ukraine.

David Weber

David Weber

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Dave joined AxiomSL in 2019 bringing more than 30 years of financial and operational experience to the company. In his role, he oversees AxiomSL’s financial and operational functions.

Prior to AxiomSL, Dave spent more than 13 years at Charles River Development (CRD) as chief financial officer, where he helped the company grow in revenue from $75 million to more than $350 million. His management responsibilities included finance, accounting, human resources, legal and general operations. Most recently, he played an instrumental role in CRD’s sale to State Street Bank and Trust Company.

Prior to CRD, Dave held various roles at Sybase Inc., including vice president of Worldwide and International Field Operations Finance, senior director of professional services and director of operations. Before that, he was the chief financial officer at Context Integration, a software consulting company.

Dave holds a B.S. in economics from Purdue University Krannert School of Management.

AxiomSL Amsalem Eyal

Eyal Amsalem

Chief Administrative Officer

Eyal Amsalem, is responsible for the administrative functions for AxiomSL’s, franchise. Prior Eyal served as AxiomSL’s Chief Financial Officer.

Eyal started his career in the Audit Department at Deloitte and Touche LLP. Subsequently, Eyal spent most of his career primarily performing SEC financial reporting for publicly traded companies.

Eyal holds a B.S. in accounting from Yeshiva University and an M.B.A. in finance from New York Institute of Technology. He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York since 1999.

AxiomSL Claudia Thurner

Claudia Thurner, CFA®

Chief Revenue Officer

Claudia Thurner previously served as general manager for AxiomSL in EMEA starting in 2019.

Prior to AxiomSL, Claudia led European and Latin American Sales and Global Strategic Accounts at SmartStream Technologies. Previously, Claudia was at Thomson Reuters based in Europe, Asia and the U.S. in various financial data and risk management roles. An experienced financial technology leader, Claudia brings extensive expertise in client relationship management and solution and service delivery.

Claudia holds an Executive M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and London Business School.

AxiomSL Ed Probst

Ed Probst

Chief Product Officer

Since joining AxiomSL in 2010, Ed Probst has been instrumental in establishing AxiomSL as the industry leader for risk and regulatory reporting.

Ed previously served as general manager in North America, where he was responsible for product strategy, development, services, sales and support for the US and Canada, and as head of product and pre-sales for the Americas, where he lead key growth initiatives across the US and Canada. Ed has extensive experience in technology, regulatory reporting, risk management and banking.

Prior to joining AxiomSL, Ed spent more than a decade in the Regtech industry focused on data management, risk and regulatory.

Ed holds both a B.Sc. in mathematics and an M.B.A. in finance and economics from Baruch College.

Peter Tierney

Peter Tierney

Chief Customer Success Officer

Peter has more than 25 years of experience as an enterprise software executive and has worked in senior financial technology roles in the U.K., the U.S. and Asia-Pacific. He has subject-matter expertise in both the pre- and post-trade environments, telecommunications, trading architecture and data management. He specializes in developing platform services that bring together communities within the financial space.

Prior to AxiomSL, Peter was the regional head of DTCC’s OTC trade reporting initiative and CEO of the Singapore-based OTC data repository (DDRS) in Asia. He was a part of the executive team that defined and executed Thomson Financial ESG’s merger with the DTCC, creating Omgeo. He also held senior-level positions with extranet provider BT Radianz, and with the NYSE Technologies business where he was the Asia COO.

Josh Geller

Josh Geller

Chief Legal Officer

Joshua Geller is the Chief Legal Officer of AxiomSL, where he is responsible for all AxiomSL legal matters. Mr. Geller joined the firm in 2017.

Prior to AxiomSL Josh was a partner in the Corporate Department of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP where he was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Client, and Investment Management practice groups, counseling clients on a wide range of strategic transactions across different industries. Josh joined Curtis as a summer associate and held associate and counsel roles before being named partner.

Josh holds a B.A. in economics from Yeshiva University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a J.D. from Fordham University, where he was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. He is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association, where he serves as a member of the Emerging Companies Committee and the Corporation Law Committee, as well as the American Bar Association.

AxiomSL Francine Gittins

Francine Lecompte Gittins

Global Head of Marketing and Communications

Francine oversees the planning, development and execution of the firm’s global marketing strategies and communications programs, reporting directly to the CEO. She is based in New York City.

Over the past seven years, Francine has built revenue-generating marketing campaigns, enhanced worldwide product positioning and increased brand awareness. AxiomSL has now been recognized with more than 15 awards across the regulatory and risk reporting landscape. In addition, Francine has been a key player in driving recognition of the AxiomSL platform with external research providers such as Chartis, Gartner and Celent.

Prior to AxiomSL, Francine was a marketing professor for the MBA program at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, worked as a marketing consultant in North America and Europe; and public policy director for the North Bay Council, where she lobbied on behalf of leading software and financial firms for economic development in the San Francisco Bay area.

Francine holds a B.A. in industrial relations and economics from McGill University, and an M.S.B.A. in international marketing from San Francisco State University.

Vice President, Global Head of Human Resources

Prev Venugopal joined AxiomSL in October 2019 bringing over 25 years of international best practice HR experience to the organization.

Throughout his career, Prev has worked for Fortune 500 companies and early-stage growth entities such as Fortis, Standard Chartered Bank, Citigroup, Fareportal and most recently Gartner. During this time, he has undertaken various international leadership assignments throughout North America, Europe and Asia (including the UK, Ireland, Holland, Italy, Singapore, India and Malaysia). He brings significant experience in all the core elements of HR including full generalist activities, strategic resourcing, compensation and benefits, learning and development, executive coaching, systems implementation, employee relations, OD initiatives, M&A activity and scorecard analysis. Above all, he is passionate about building empowered teams and delivering meaningful and robust people solutions designed to facilitate commercial objectives.

Prev holds a B.A. with honors in business studies from the University of Kent (UK) and an M. Sc. with honors in human resources management from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a former recipient of American Business Stevie® Awards and Global Business Excellence Awards for achievements within the field of human resources.
