Mr. Tsigutkin and Mr. Chopra to Address Data Governance’s Role in Gleaning Insights, Optimizing Business Processes and Alleviating Cybersecurity Risks[gap height=”15px”] NEW YORK, LONDON, SINGAPORE, MEDELLIN, May 1, 2018 AxiomSL, the leading global provider of regulatory-reporting, risk and data-management solutions, today announced that its Founder and CEO, Alex Tsigutkin, and Chief Client Officer, Harry Chopra, are members of the speaking faculty at FIMA US 2018. This annual conference is the leading data management event for financial services, focusing on the latest challenges posed by regulations and opportunities to drive revenue and growth. During the second day of the conference, Mr. Tsigutkin will give the Chairperson’s Opening Address entitled, “Managing the Velocity, Volume and Veracity of Financial Information.” Mr. Chopra will participate in four panel discussions during FIMA. On the first day of the conference, he will join experts from Eaton Vance, Northern Trust, MassMutual Financial Group, Fidelity Investments and Denodo Technologies on a panel entitled, “Creating a Culture of Self-Service and Educated Users to Drive Value out of Data.” This discussion will focus on how financial institutions can monetize data that already exists, set permissioning controls for different data users and alleviate the pain business users may experience when accessing data. During the second day of the conference, Mr. Chopra will serve as the moderator of three panel discussions:
- “Bridging the Gaps of Cyber Security, Enterprise Risk Management and the Data Organization to Ensure a Safe Environment,” where experts from U.S. Bank, Bank of China and USAA will examine risk management approaches that incorporate technology, governance and security to address current common threats.
- “Latest Opportunities for LEI Beyond European Adoption,” where regulatory executives from JPMorgan Chase, RBC Capital Markets and S&P Global Market Intelligence will provide insights on new standards and requirements for Legal Entity Identifiers, as well as the benefits as they become more broadly adopted.
- “Leveraging Data Standards for Consistency, Rationalization and Efficiency,” where representatives from Citi and Bank of Montreal will discuss opportunities for firms to standardize, collaborate and create common methodologies to address regulations.
FIMA will take place at the Westin Copley Place in Boston. On May 2, 2018, there will be a pre-day conference open only to professionals from financial institutions. The main conference, for a broader audience of data management professionals, be held on May 3-4.
