Axiom SL Unveils Form PF Development for Investment Advisers

New York, November 7, 2011 – Axiom Software Laboratories, Inc. (Axiom SL) a leading global provider of regulatory reporting and risk management solutions announced today development of a Form PF solution making it easier for Investment Advisers to meet pending reporting requirements. Form PF is a complex regulatory filing for advisers to private funds required by both the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), which has wide-range implications for hedge funds.

On October 31, 2011 the SEC and CFTC jointly adopted Rule 204(b)-1 under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. It requires Investment Advisers to private funds to file Form PF, designed to help regulators evaluate and monitor the systemic risks posed by hedge funds and other private investment vehicles.

The system also integrates the concept of Sourcing controls, providing the organization the ability to enforce control over which Reporting Funds should have data of a specific type. Controls are critical throughout the system from a data existence perspective for a filing. A complex set of business rules was used not only those inherent in the Form PF, but parameter driven rules configurable by the organization. Additionally, business rules on sources to enable identification of relational integrity gaps between sources. We will utilize our ControllerView platform for regulatory reporting including a specially designed management dashboard for work flow management.
